ANALISIS TRADISI IRIBAN LEREP DALAM MEMBANGUN EKSISTENSI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER PROFIL PELAJAR PANCASILA DI KABUPATEN SEMARANG

The Iriban tradition is a spring cleaning activity carried out collectively by the people of Lerep Village, Semarang Regency. Over time, this tradition not only plays a role in environmental preservation, but also contains character values that are in line with the dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile. The purpose of this study is to analyze the contribution of the Iriban tradition in shaping student character education based on thesix dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile. The research used mixed methods with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The results obtained from this study, a survey of 20 students showed that all respondents (100%) stated that the values in the Iriban tradition were in line with the Pancasila Student Profile. The values of mutual cooperation (90%), environmental preservation (70%), cultural diversity (50%), religiosity (40%), and tolerance (30%) are the most prominent values. Interviews with community leaders also said that the younger generation is actively involved in the implementation and promotion of Iriban through various media. Based on the results obtained in this study, it can be concluded that the Iriban tradition has the potential to be a means of local culture-based character learning that is relevant to support the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum.
